Job summary

New Jersey Respiratory is seeking Respiratory Therapists to join our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders and educate patients and families on how to manage their conditions.

Responsibilities include administering medications and oxygen therapy, collaborating with physicians and nurses to plan treatment, monitoring progress, and responding to emergencies with life support as needed.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Administer medications and oxygen therapy as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and breathing techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and provide life support as required.
