Job summary

Loyola Medicine invites a part-time Respiratory Therapist to join a Level I Trauma Center designated by the state and ACS. You will deliver respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in a rotating shift, collaborating with a high-performing team.

The role involves administering treatments, managing ventilators, and following evidence-based protocols to optimize outcomes. You may take on lead/charge responsibilities to guide workflow and support teammates.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in respiratory care
• Illinois RT license (or within 6 months)
• CRT (NBRC) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NRP & PALS within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.
• Administer treatments, manage ventilators, and perform diagnostics.
• Follow evidence-based protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Serve as a lead/charge therapist, guiding workflow and supporting team members.
