UnityPoint Health is seeking a motivated Respiratory Therapist Lead in Rock Island, IL. The position involves significant patient care responsibilities with a focus on both clinical and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of a CoARC approved program with at least one year of clinical experience, ready to step into a leadership role and help guide the clinical staff.
Overview
**$10,000 Sign on Bonus**
Respiratory Therapist Lead
Hours: Openings on 2nd and 3rd shifts, 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts available
Full time ; weekend and holiday rotations required
Shift Differentials: Base + 12% for any hours worked 6pm-6am + $1/hr for all hours worked on Saturdays/Sundays
Respiratory Therapist Leads are expected to perform duties similar to clinical staff 80% of the time with the rest devoted to administrative duties consistent with the daily operation activities of within the department. Will be responsible for ensuring that clinical staff are assigned appropriately, assist in the hiring process, monitor and assess work of others, provide education and instruction when necessary, assist in annual competency completion, and work with other departments on committee’s as assigned.
