Qualifications

Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is hiring for Respiratory Therapists in the Adult Respiratory Department.

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week
• Night Shift: 6:45pm-7:15am
• E/O Weekend
• 13-week contract

Pay Rate:

$60

Responsibilities include:

1. Administering all respiratory care modalities, including:
   • Invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
   • Inhaled medication administration
   • Medical gases administration
   • Humidity therapy
   • Airway management
   • Bronchial hygiene/airway clearance
   • Chest tube management (NICU only)
   • Blood gas management
   • Intra-hospital transport
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients with cardiopulmonary issues, interpret data, and make evidence-based care recommendations.
3. Manage clinical documentation, billing, and hand-offs in electronic health records.

Minimum qualifications:

• Associate's degree or higher
• Maryland Respiratory License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.) credential
