Johns Hopkins Hospital

in Baltimore, MD is hiring for Respiratory Therapists in the Adult Respiratory Department.

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week
• 6:45am - 7:15pm
• E/O Weekend
• 13-week contract

Pay Rate:

$60/hour

Responsibilities include:

• Administering all respiratory care modalities, including:
• Invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
• Inhaled medication administration
• Medical gases administration
• Humidity therapy
• Airway management
• Bronchial hygiene/airway clearance
• Chest tube management (NICU only)
• Blood gas management
• Intra-hospital transport

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiopulmonary issues, including clinical pathways and interpreting patient data to make evidence-based care recommendations.

• Managing clinical patient electronic health records, including documentation, billing, and hand-offs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or higher
• Maryland Respiratory License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.)
