Job summary

Clover Staffing seeks a Respiratory Therapist in Hilo, Hawaii. The position covers 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts at the facility in Hilo, starting 2026-09-21 for a 15-week assignment. Compensation includes weekly pay of $1,787–$1,960.

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher from accredited respiratory care program.
Pass NBRC Therapist Multiple-Choice (TMC) examination.
Pass NBRC Clinical Simulation Examination (CSE).
2+ years clinical respiratory care experience preferred.
Pass state licensure examination.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of respiratory disorders.
Evaluate patients and perform diagnostic tests (arterial blood gases, pulmonary function tests).
Develop respiratory treatment plans with physicians.
Monitor patient physiological responses to therapy.
Set up and operate mechanical ventilators and aerosol generators.
Manage life-support equipment in critical care settings.
Administer respiratory treatments (oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy).
Respond to emergency situations (cardiac arrest, trauma).
Collaborate with healthcare team on patient management.
Educate patients and families about disease management.
