Job summary

Kettering Health Network's Main Campus is seeking a Respiratory Therapist III Resource (PRN) for first shift to provide patient assessment, treatment and care across the lifespan.

The role performs diagnostic tests, delivers interventions, and educates patients and families, aligned with Kettering Health's mission and safety program; requires an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, Ohio RCP license, NBRC RRT, and BLS/ACLS certification to be obtained prior to or within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from a program accredited by CoARC or equivalent.
• Current and valid license as a Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) in Ohio.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; BLS and ACLS by American Heart Association to be obtained before/within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment and care for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders across the lifespan.
• Perform diagnostic testing and deliver therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patients and families to support respiratory health and recovery.
