The Staff Respiratory Therapist III performs medically prescribed general, intermediate, and intensive respiratory care as a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team under the guidance and direction of the Neonatal or Pediatric Coordinator. Professional duties include: Oxygen Therapy, Bland and Medicated Aerosol Therapy, Airway Clearance Techniques, Assisted Ventilation Techniques, Blood Gas Sampling and Analysis, Non-Invasive Blood Gas Monitoring, Airway Management, Mechanical Ventilation, CPR, Bedside Pulmonary Function Testing, Sleep Assessment, Breathing Retraining, Home Care Instruction, Patient/ Parent Education and Smoking Cessation Counseling, In-House and Ambulance Transport.
