Job Summary

Seeking a PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC!

Work Schedule: 7:00pm - 7:00am, rotating weekends and holidays, PRN as needed

Location: New Hanover Regional Medical Center, 2131 South 17th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401

Department: Respiratory Care

Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities

• Works under the supervision of the Manager.
• Administers a variety of treatments and tests as directed by a physician, including both simple and complex procedures.
• Collaborates with the medical director and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Delivers routine and emergent respiratory care services in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Explains treatments, tests, and equipment to patients to ensure understanding.
• Records all relevant treatment information and patient responses accurately in the patient’s chart.
