Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a registered respiratory therapist for a rotating NICU shift to join our maternity and NICU team. This Magnet-status, 174-bed facility provides advanced critical care, stroke and oncology services, and a dedicated neonatal intensive care unit.

Education and licensing include an associate or bachelor’s degree, NBRC RRT, state license and BLS at hire, with NBRC RRT obtainable within six months for new graduates.

Overview

Sentara is currently hiring a rotating shift NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team at Sentara Princess Anne in Virginia Beach, VA! Sentara Princess Anne Hospital located in Virginia Beach, VA, is a Magnet Status, general medical and surgical facility with 160 beds. The hospital offers a full-service emergency room with a dedicated observation unit, Critical Care, Oncology and Stroke services. It also encompasses a Family Maternity Center with an On-site Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree required.
• Non-degreed applicants with RRT credentials prior to January 1, 2006 and graduates from a military RT program with RRT credentials will also be considered.
• Certification/Licensure: State Respiratory license, NBRC RRT, BLS required at time of hire.
• For new graduates only, must have State license and BLS at time of hire, and must obtain NBRC RRT within 6 months of hire date.
• Experience: None required. One year Respiratory Care experience preferred.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $37.61 - $55.27 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
