Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess patients, perform diagnostics, and administer prescribed therapy under physician orders. The role may require proficiency with Pulmonary Lab, cardiovascular and neurology equipment, including ECGs, echocardiography, stress testing, and related duties where allowed by licensure.

Education: AMA-approved RT program graduate. Licensure and certifications are required, including RRT and AHA BLS/ACLS/NRP, with on-call schedule and 0.9 FTE

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapist educational program.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care equipment and protocols.
• Ability to assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and perform diagnostics under physician orders.
• Administer prescribed therapy and manage respiratory care plans.
• Operate Pulmonary Lab, ECG, echocardiography and related equipment as competent.
