Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• All listed licenses/certifications required upon hire (NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS, ARC-ALS, etc.).
• 0–2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Administers aerosolized medication and airway therapies.
• Manages ventilator care, weaning, and airway management.
• Performs arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Educates patients and mentors new staff.
• Supports invasive/non-invasive procedures in location-specific services.
• Ensures safe, high-quality environment and accurate documentation.
• Adheres to WellStar Health System policies.
