Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree/Certificate in Respiratory Care; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and current RCP licensure in the applicable state.
• BLS required upon hire; ACLS/NRP/PALS to be completed within 90 days of hire.
• CRT or RRT credential; VA State Licensure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and care teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans.
• Maintains and documents patient progress and plan of care within policies and procedures.
• Provides patient and family education and ensures safe transport and handling of patients.
