ChristianaCare is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist to work full-time, 72 hours on a 3rd shift/overnight schedule. Hours are from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am. The position requires working every 3rd weekend and holiday. This role is based at Christiana Hospital with rotations to Wilmington Hospital.
The Respiratory Care Department provides services for both Christiana and Wilmington hospitals. Respiratory Therapists serve in all hospital areas, including adult and infant critical care units, medical-surgical floors, and emergency care. There are approximately 156 full- and part-time therapists across ChristianaCare. Opportunities exist to join a department involved in innovative therapy and research, where team members are valued as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:
Graduate of a CoARC-accredited School of Respiratory Therapy. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
Previous acute care experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred.
Special Requirements:
Maintain active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and CRT credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Maintain current BLS certification.
Current AARC membership preferred.
Licensure in the State of Delaware required.
