Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive clinical care during transport of neonatal and pediatric patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires pediatric critical care experience, active RT license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP). Shift rotations include nights and weekends due to transport demands.

Qualifications

• Must hold active respiratory therapist license and have pediatric critical care experience.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required or strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform high-stress transport and rapid assessment in neonatal/pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care during transport of neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Lead and supervise nursing staff during transport scenarios.
• Perform rapid assessments and emergency procedures as needed.

Job description

Provides total clinical care for critically ill children during transportation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and under medical control supervision.
Offers individualized, goal-directed patient care, ensuring safety and effective interventions using advanced neonatal skills such as intubation and ventilation.
Leads and supervises nursing staff, assesses and evaluates care, and maintains standards and certifications.
Performs rapid assessments, emergency procedures, and safe transport of neonatal and pediatric patients, often in high-stress, challenging environments.
Requires licensure as a respiratory therapist with at least 5 years of pediatric critical care experience, and maintains certifications like BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
Involves physical demands including lifting, moving patients, and working in confined or elevated spaces, with shift rotations including nights and weekends.
