Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division in Coraopolis, PA. The role provides respiratory care and maintains medical records to ensure compliance with current therapy practice and state regulations.

Salary is $31.00/hour. This professional position requires a PA license, CRT or RRT credentials, and experience with ventilator care; two years of respiratory care preferred.

Qualifications

• This position requires a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) with a current Pennsylvania License and a genuine interest in working with persons with physical and developmental disabilities.
• Two (2) year current respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical assessments to individuals needed per policy.
• Administer respiratory medications, treatments, and care within their scope of practice and per AVS Policy and Procedure. This includes but is not limited to tracheostomy care, ventilator care, CPAP, BIPAP, etc.
• This position reports to the respiratory manager.
• This professional role involves respiratory care and maintaining medical records to comply with current best practices and state regulation.
