Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, PALS and Neonate Resuscitation certifications are required within specified timeframes.
• RRT/RCP-State credential as a Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner is required.
• Certifications demonstrate clinical readiness for acute and emergent care.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver evidence-based oxygen and aerosolized therapies.
• Manage ventilation and airway care across settings.
• Educate patients and families and collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection prevention standards.

Education

ACLS within 90 days

BCLS within 30 days

Neonate Resuscitation within 90 days

PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days
