Research Medical Center in the Kansas City area seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to guide patients through routine care and critical moments using diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including ventilation management across care settings.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications required.
• NBRC-RRT credential required.
• State licensure as Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Respiratory Care or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status, interpret findings, and determine interventions.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen and aerosolized medications.
• Manage ventilation and airway care in emergency, ICU, and acute settings.
• Educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians/nurses, and support newborn care if needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection-prevention standards.
