Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing and administering Respiratory Care procedures in accordance with physician's treatment plan including mechanical ventilation and airway care; respiratory treatment; emergency respiratory maneuvers; transport and maintenance of critically ill patients for special tests and procedures. Performs and interprets tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in accordance with physician. Attends and participates in hospital educational programs and patient care rounds. Precepts college students/interns from respiratory care programs.
