Oswego Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform diagnostic testing and care for patients of all ages. Responsibilities include consulting with healthcare staff, providing complex therapy, and teaching patients about their care. The ideal candidate will have a current NYS license and relevant certifications, with a focus on delivering quality care in a supportive environment.

The Respiratory Therapist performs respiratory diagnostic testing, respiratory care, and electrocardiogram testing to patients of all ages, from newborn through geriatrics. Duties include testing for diagnosis, treatments, rehabilitation, patient teaching, in addition to cleaning and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
The Respiratory Therapists will be an integral part of:
Current NYS Licensed Respiratory Therapist required. CPR certification required. One year or more of previous hospital experience, or experience in a healthcare setting, preferred. On-site orientation is approximately 4 weeks. ACLS and PALS certifications are required within 1 year of hire.
Pay Range: $36.05-$41.20/hour
Employee salary is based on experience and other qualifications.
