Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care across respiratory therapy tasks following physician orders and approved protocols. You will set up and manage mechanical ventilation, assist with emergencies, and monitor patient responses while educating families.

Job description

The Respiratory Therapist provides direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders and approved protocols while considering patient age.

Responsibilities include setting up and managing mechanical ventilation, emergency care, assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation and intubations, monitoring physiological responses, and educating patients and families about their conditions and disease management techniques.

Qualifications require a graduate of an accredited associate's degree respiratory program and licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Florida.

Skills include clinical expertise in respiratory care, emergency procedures, patient education, and monitoring patient responses to therapy.

Sign-on bonuses are offered based on experience, with $20,000 for those with less than one year and $30,000 for those with more than one year of experience.
