Job description

The Respiratory Therapist provides direct patient care across all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders and protocols, with attention to patient age.

Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical ventilation
• Providing emergency care and assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation and intubations
• Monitoring physiological responses to therapy
• Educating patients and families about conditions and disease management techniques

The role offers sign-on bonuses based on experience: $20,000 for less than one year and $30,000 for more than one year.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited associate's degree respiratory program and hold a State of Florida Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Note

The position does not involve vehicle operation unless specified as a frequent driver.
