Job summary

Amberwell Health in Hiawatha, KS is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a critical access hospital. Under the Cardiopulmonary Director and Medical Director, you will provide basic and advanced Respiratory Care to infant through geriatric patients.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate Respiratory Care within licensure guidelines, working in inpatient and outpatient settings and upholding Amberwell culture priorities and professional excellence.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an associate or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care.
• KSBHA license required.
• NBRC certification required.
• NBRC registered preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required.
• 1+ years clinical experience preferred.
• Able to perform all therapeutic respiratory care procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced Respiratory Care services to patients.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate Respiratory Care within scope and licensure.
• Work under Cardiopulmonary and Medical Directors.
• Maintain Amberwell culture priorities in all interactions.

Job Description

Critical access hospital seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the team. Under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director and Medical Director, the respiratory therapist provides basic and advanced Respiratory Care services to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of Respiratory Care in all patient care departments. Services and testing are performed within the scope of practice of the Cardiopulmonary Department and within licensure guidelines as defined by the state of Kansas.
