Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Administer safe and competent respiratory care as ordered, monitor mechanical ventilation, administer medications, assess patients, understand hemodynamic monitoring and blood work results, monitor, teach, and train.
• Deliver respiratory procedures across hospital areas as per policies, maintain accurate documentation, verify and initiate physician orders.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, perform airway management, assist with bronchoscopy procedures, and conduct decannulation assessments.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, perform ABG sampling and analysis, and provide patient and family education.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, provide updates, and assist in training new staff and students.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapy education for credentialing by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Current Respiratory Therapy license and CRT/RRT credential, BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferably 1 year of experience.
