Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a flexible GIG across East Region locations (St Louis area). You will provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders, consult on therapy effectiveness, and serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

GIG highlights include base pay of $35/hour for RRT and $30/hour for CRT, with additional shift incentives. Shifts can be day or night with 4, 8, or 12 hour options, and there are no weekend or holiday

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
