Job summary

Veracity Staffing Solutions is actively hiring respiratory therapists across multiple openings in various healthcare settings. Roles include part-time, full-time, and PRN with flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

Applicants should have NBRC certification, an active RCP license, and BLS/CPR. Travel to patient locations may be required; diverse environments include hospital, home care, and rehab centers.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program or technical college course.
• Registration or certification by the NBRC.
• Current RCP license in the state of practice.
• Experience in respiratory care jobs, emergency care, or ICU preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC.
• Strong knowledge of pulmonary function, pulmonary rehabilitation, and respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient physiological responses, including arterial blood gases, lung function changes, and vital signs.
• Assist physicians in managing patient care and performing medical procedures.
• Set up and operate respiratory therapy devices such as ventilators, therapeutic gas administration apparatus, and aerosol generators.
• Provide emergency care, including CPR and artificial respiration, when required.
• Maintain and clean respiratory therapy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans and treatment procedures.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Travel to patient locations as needed for respiratory therapist employment opportunities.
