Qualifications

• Requires an associate's degree.
• Must be registered or certified.
• Must hold current Texas RCP License.
• Must have BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• NRP preferred, but not required at time of hire.
• Neo and Pedi experience a plus.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and assessing needs of patients and formulating treatment plans
• Provides respiratory therapy services defined in treatment plans
• Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare staff
• Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Typically reports to a manager
