RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Registered at RWJUH Hamilton Hospital in New Jersey. The role involves delivering respiratory care across departments, operating and monitoring ventilation equipment, and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements include NBRC-accredited program completion, eligibility for RRT/CRT, active NJ license, and current BLS.

Qualificações

• Graduate of NBRC-accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Eligible for RRT/CRT per NBRC.
• Active New Jersey Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respiratory care treatments and therapies throughout the hospital.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilation as appropriate.
• Perform arterial and capillary blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Respond to emergencies and provide airway management as ordered.
• Evaluate patient response and adjust therapy as needed.
• Document assessments and treatments in hospital records.
