Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited respiratory care program.
• Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP).
• NBRC-registered or eligible, RRT within 18 months of start date.
• ICU and Level 2 NICU experience preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong patient-care focus and communication with patients, staff and physicians.
• Ability to evaluate and provide exceptional respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and staff.
• Advance patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Work with patients and families to deliver age- and culturally appropriate care.
• Set up, operate, clean and store respiratory equipment; apply conventional ventilation methods.
