• Registered by the NBRC or eligible to become a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within 12 months.

Responsibilities

As part of our respiratory therapist team, you will partner with physicians and staff to provide patient-centered care and outstanding service delivered with respect. Your expertise will allow you to advance the patient plan of care to achieve the best possible outcomes. You’ll work with patients and families to provide age- and culturally-appropriate care, provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, and implement conventional ventilation methods. You will also perform a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, and storing respiratory equipment.

Qualifications

• You have earned an Associate’s Degree from an accredited respiratory care program.
• You hold an Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP).
• You are registered by the NBRC or are eligible to become a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within 12 months of the start date.
• You have experience working in respiratory therapy, including knowledge of treatment modalities and a dedication to patient care.
• You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to interact tactfully and effectively with patients, staff, physicians, and visitors.
• You are able to evaluate and provide exceptional care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
