Job summary

Whitehall Borough Post Acute is a 166-bed post-acute care facility in Pittsburgh, PA. We are seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide therapy, management, rehabilitation, and evaluation for patients with pulmonary conditions.

Responsibilities include following schedules, documenting data, and coordinating care with the care team. Must hold PA license, an associate degree (BS preferred), CPR/ACLS, and preferably 1 year of acute/subacute respiratory experience; full-time with a 6a-2p

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program with PA license.
• Minimum associate degree; BS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year respiratory experience in acute/subacute unit preferred.
• Active CPR Certification; ACLS (BLS preferred) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory/pulmonary therapy and direct patient care.
• Follow schedules and facility policies; document data and outcomes.
• Coordinate with nursing and physicians to adjust treatment plans.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control procedures.
• Promote effective communication with team and family.
