Job Details

Position: Respiratory Therapist, Day Shift, Full-time

Location: Burke Rehabilitation

Pay Range: $49.37/hr - $57.16/hr

Sign-on Bonus: $20,000 (paid over 2 years)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory conditions.
• Perform nebulizer treatments, oxygen setups, tracheostomy care, suctioning, ABGs, Bi/CPAP, tank changes, and postural drainage.

Requirements

• Licensed and Registered Respiratory Therapist in New York.
• Preferred: Hospital/nursing home experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Availability to work 7am-7pm shifts.
• Must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and physically capable of handling equipment.
• Availability to work some weekends and 13 shifts in a 4-week period.

Additional Information

• Shift differential of $3.75/hr after 3pm.
• Actual compensation depends on experience, education, and skills.
