Select Specialty Hospital - Richmond is hiring a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for full-time daytime shifts in Richmond, VA. The facility provides world-class inpatient post-ICU care, with a strong focus on compassionate treatment for critically ill patients.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire (agency requires ACLS on first shift, PRN on hire).

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
