Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Western Massachusetts is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver compassionate care and drive positive outcomes for patients with respiratory challenges.

You will assess patients, supervise breathing treatments, and develop personalized care plans while collaborating with a dedicated team. Join a national inpatient rehabilitation leader focused on growth, recognition, and meaningful community impact.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

State license in Respiratory Therapy

CPR certification

ACLS certification preferred

Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred
