Job summary

Garnet Health Medical Center Middletown is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy team. Provide safe, effective administration of respiratory care procedures per physician orders, across all age groups, within a patient-centered system.

Qualifications

• AAS or BS degree in Respiratory Therapy (Preferred).
• Current NYS Respiratory Therapist License.
• CRT credential by NBRC required; RRT credential preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain knowledge of respiratory pathophysiology across age groups.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other health care professionals.
• May serve as Charge Therapist in the absence of a supervisor.
