Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist CRT PRN to join our acute care team. The staff therapist will demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

Qualifications include NBRC-CRT and RRT/RCP-State credentials, BCLS within 30 days, and a professional Certificate. No travel required; on-site duties support patient care across units with potential supervision of students.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NBRC-CRT Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT/RCP-State Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner.
• Professional certificate in respiratory care or related credential.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care and other multidisciplinary assigned skills.
• Execute assignments in accordance with hospital and respiratory policies.
• May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.

Job Summary And Qualifications

It is the responsibility of the staff respiratory therapist to demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care and other multidisciplinary assigned skills as defined by training and competency demonstration. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for execution of assignments. All care will be in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies.
