Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist in Springdale, AR, for full-time involvement in administering respiratory care procedures prescribed by physicians. You will assess and monitor patients, ensuring effective treatment and patient safety.

Required qualifications include graduation from an approved Respiratory Therapy program with a Diploma or AAS, AR license, and CRT certification, with BLS current or within 7 days of hire. ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Board of Medicine to practice in Arkansas.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist Certification.
• Current BLS certification or required within 7 days of hire.
• ACLS is preferred but not required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic respiratory therapies prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor and assess patient response to treatments and diagnostic tests, adjusting care as needed.

What You\'ll Do

Responsible for the administration of pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures necessary to implement treatment, disease prevention, pulmonary rehabilitative, or diagnostic regime prescribed by a physician. Proper assessment, observation and monitoring of signs and symptoms, general behavior, and general physical response to respiratory care treatments and diagnostic testing.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy program with a Diploma or AAS Degree
• Licensed by the Board of Medicine to practice in the State of Arkansas
• Certified Respiratory Therapist Certification
• Current BLS or required within 7 days of hire
