Kindred Hospital Houston Sugarland and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide hospital-level respiratory care, monitor ventilation, evaluate patient status, and administer medications as ordered. The role requires collaboration with physicians, ongoing documentation, and patient education to support recovery.

Candidates should have RB license, CMP, BLS/ACLS and at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.

Formación

• Respiratory Therapy education required for credentialing.
• Must hold a current Respiratory Therapy license in the appropriate state.
• Certifications CMP, BLS and ACLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Administer respiratory care per physician orders.
• Monitor mechanical ventilation and patient condition.
• Document procedures and maintain care plans.
• Verify physician orders and manage respiratory devices.
• Assist with bronchoscopy procedures as needed.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Participate in rounds and inform team of patient status.
