Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited respiratory therapy program and licensed in NYS.
• Current NYS Respiratory Therapist license is required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review data in patient records and communicate findings to the health care team.
• Assess overall cardiopulmonary status using clinical data and examinations.
• Perform and interpret bedside procedures including ABG analysis and pulse oximetry.
• Explain therapy plans to patients and families and monitor responses.
• Prepare, operate and maintain respiratory care equipment.
