Job summary

The role requires GA-licensed RRT, current CPR and ACLS, strong communication, and extensive experience across diagnostic testing, therapeutics, monitoring and rehab for all age groups.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RRT by the State of Georgia (RCP).
• Maintain CEUs as required by Georgia licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Extensive experience in diagnostic testing, therapeutics, monitoring, rehabilitation, home care and patient education.
• Clinical evaluation/assessment skills for all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to a positive work climate and teamwork with a cooperative attitude.
• Demonstrates clinical competence in oxygen, humidity, aerosol therapy and related care.
• Performs CPR and holds BLS; ACLS as applicable.
• Ensures therapy adherence to physician prescriptions and policies.
• Performs oxygen/equipment rounds and ABG analysis with quality control.
• Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoots basic equipment problems and ensures safe respiratory practices.
• Documents procedures and departmental records accurately for stats and charging.
• Participates in in-service education and mandatory department meetings.
• Communicates clinical problems to the supervisor and coordinates with the department.
