Job summary

Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT/RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists to perform spirometry testing in primary care clinics around Tampa. This role offers flexible scheduling as a 1099 contractor, with daily pay and opportunities to grow with a fast-moving healthcare startup.

You will perform pre/post bronchodilator testing, educate patients, and ensure high-quality results while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential.
• Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing.
• Educate and coach patients to ensure accurate, high-quality results.
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients throughout testing.
• Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and clinic teams while representing Crosswalk Health with professionalism and compassion.

We’re hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform simple spirometry testing (pre/post albuterol) at primary care clinics in the Tampa area.

Qualifications

• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Compensation

$245–300 per day paid biweekly; additional supplemental compensation may be available based on experience, tenure with Crosswalk Health, and region served.
