Job summary

Meadowbrook in Gardner, Kansas is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to evaluate, recommend and perform respiratory therapy procedures for patients with pulmonary compromise. You will manage and maintain respiratory equipment, ensure timely documentation, and report issues to the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor.

Strong attention to accuracy and patient comfort is essential. Current Kansas RCP registration and BLS certification are required; experience with tracheostomy tubes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the State of Kansas as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS Certification
• Previous experience with tracheostomy tubes preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, recommend, and perform respiratory therapy-related diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients with pulmonary compromise.
• Manage and maintain all respiratory equipment and supplies, reporting discrepancies to the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor.
• Document all procedures and client interactions accurately and timely.
