Responsibilities

• Verify physician orders to carry out all aspects of respiratory care and document all respiratory activity to ensure excellent quality care.
• Perform ventilation therapies, including maintenance and management of life support systems.
• Administer therapy modalities such as Hand Held Nebulizer (HHN), HHN via metered dose inhaler (MDI), Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation (IPV), Chest Physical Therapy (CPT), and Pentamidine therapy.
• Perform physiological monitoring and diagnostic testing.

Overview

As a Certified Respiratory Therapist at St. Joseph Health, you will be knowledgeable in treatment, management, control, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardipulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.

You will provide care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory problems daily.

Pay Range

$21.80 - $31.62 per hour
