About Mount Carmel Dublin:

At Mount Carmel Dublin, respiratory therapists deliver high-quality care through collaboration with providers and nurses to assess and treat patients while upholding the Mount Carmel mission. They provide 24/7 coverage to inpatients, procedural outpatients, and emergency department patients, focusing on higher skill levels using therapist-driven protocols and assisting with access needs across various care levels.

This position will staff Mount Carmel Dublin. During construction, training will occur mainly at Mount Carmel St. Ann's, Westerville, OH. Mount Carmel Dublin is expected to open in Spring 2025.

Position Purpose:
  • The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT), within Ohio Scope of Practice, provides therapeutic procedures and diagnostic testing to both chronic and acute patients requiring respiratory care.
What You Will Do:
  • Provide respiratory care, ensure patient safety, promote evidence-based practices, and exhibit professionalism.
  • Perform duties outside routine patient care as needed.
  • Initiate and administer therapeutic procedures, diagnostic tests, and education per departmental policies.
  • Document patient assessments and maintain departmental records.
  • Precept new employees and participate in student rotations.
  • Maintain knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment.
  • Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members regarding patient care and treatment plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Completion of a 2- or 4-year Respiratory Care Program or equivalent educational requirements for registry eligibility.
  • Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License and NBRC credential (RRT or CRT).
  • Clinical experience in adult and neonatal respiratory procedures.
  • Current BLS certification.
