Job summary

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby, Montana is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the Cardiopulmonary Department on a full-time basis. The role involves diagnostic testing, patient care, documentation, and collaborating with providers to coordinate care.

Candidates must complete an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, hold Montana licensure, and maintain ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.
• Must hold a current Montana state license in Respiratory Therapy.
• RRT or CRT certification may be differentiating for job codes.
• Maintain ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic testing and procedures per department standards and governing bodies.
• Maintains workload organization and department facilities/workstation.
• Maintains patient records with accurate documentation and charge capture.
• Participates in departmental quality assurance and preventative maintenance.
• Stocks inventory to appropriate levels for scheduled shifts and subsequent shifts.
• Completes required forms and consents for exams.
• Keeps department policies up to date and accessible.
• Rotates and covers shifts as needed while participating in staff meetings and training.
• Supports front desk duties as needed and coordinates patient care with internal and external providers.
