Job summary

KARIER is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join the cardiopulmonary team in Great Falls, MT. The role involves evaluating, treating, and monitoring patients with cardiopulmonary disorders under supervision of the Respiratory Care Manager.

The position requires an RT credential, Montana license eligibility or current license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and relocation support are included for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active, unrestricted Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the Montana Board of Respiratory Care Practitioners (or immediate eligibility)
• Active national credentialing as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct cardiopulmonary care including aerosol therapies, chest physiotherapy, mechanical ventilation setup/management, arterial blood gas sampling/analysis, and diagnostic testing.
• Conduct patient clinical evaluations, monitor treatment responses, adjust protocols in collaboration with attending physicians, and document clinical outcomes.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical respiratory support across all ages and units.
• Educate patients and family members regarding disease management, home therapy equipment, and preventative cardiopulmonary health.
• Adhere to CQI initiatives, hospital safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
