LCMC Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Assistant to join University Medical Center's respiratory care team in Louisiana. The role involves assembling, transporting, disinfecting, calibrating and troubleshooting respiratory equipment under direct supervision, and supporting routine therapy assistant tasks.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (or 2 years of work experience).
Your job is more than a job. The Respiratory Therapy Assistant is responsible for performing various duties that require an expertise in the assembly, transport, disinfection, calibration and troubleshooting of respiratory related equipment. Performs work under direct supervision. Maintains an appropriate level of equipment in the various respiratory work areas and assists with various procedures and tasks, as directed. May assist in training new personnel on routine therapy assistant functions.
