Job summary

You will perform prescribed respiratory care procedures, document patient responses, participate in rounds, maintain equipment, and communicate with the care team. One year of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience and active licensure are required; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required.
• Acute Care setting experience preferred.
• Licensure and BLS certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed respiratory care procedures per orders and protocols.
• Assesses patient condition and reports to physicians and nurses.
• Participates in rounds and shifts reports; documents patient responses.
• Maintains and sterilizes equipment; ensures a safe environment.
• Communicates with patients and families about procedures and care.
