Job summary

Qualifications

• RRT certification is required.
• ACLS, PALS required; NICU may require NRP and STABLE.
• Experience with acute care respiratory therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Orientates patients to treatments to ensure cooperation.
• Performs ABG punctures and reports results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as needed.
• Operates and maintains respiratory equipment and ensures safety.
