An established academic health system seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for part-time night shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential respiratory therapy, including oxygen and aerosol therapy, while collaborating with medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Responsible for respiratory therapy duties including oxygen and aerosol therapy, administration of specialty gases, application of ventilators, arterial puncture, blood gas analysis, implement patient driven protocols, and other duties as assigned. *Respiratory Therapists must be a graduate of a Commission of Accreditation Respiratory Care (CoARC) approved program.

Perform exercise testing involving monitoring of patient functions and assessment of patient effort in the Pulmonary Rehab dept.
Perform pulmonary function testing including the operation of equipment, compiling of tests results for physician review and assessment of patient effort based upon results.
Consult with and assist physicians and nurses with respiratory care plan for patients and facilitate the implementation of the physician's orders.
